We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary with some of our nearest and dearest customers. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, some who flew in from other countries just to break bread and celebrate with us.
We would like to reflect on these beautiful 10 years. CHERD Africa LTD started as a consulting company focusing on health and Academia. But the founders had a passion for bringing people together. And they thought of one great way of bringing people together is by building homes and subsequently building communities. The first CHERD Africa LTD home was built in 2014 and sold 2 years later. Just like that we had one happy homeowner. The homeowner had a lot of questions, they had never made an investment like this before. So, the founders, who had also been lecturers and public health consultants, decided to combine their passion for teaching and community building and set off to build and educate even more people.
In the last 10 years we have built over 60 homes and educated over 1000 people on everything Real Estate from land buying, land ownership, construction even design. It has been a wonderful experience meeting so many lovely people who are so eager to build their dream life. It has not been easy but seeing all these happy people in their homes with their children playing in the estates and the neighbors sharing stories and resources keeps us going.
We are happy that we are serving our purpose and we look forward to another happy more years of building communities and educating a new generation of homeowners.
