Picture this, you just moved into your new house and you need to turn it into a home. What to do.
Over the past few years we’ve built quite a few homes and decorated several others. We thought we’d share what style tips worked for us and feature some of our favorite places for home decor.
Light on the eyes: you want your home to feel airy and spacious while still having a nice cosy feel. To do that make sure that your colors(wall and Decor) reflect that. Don’t be afraid to show your love for color with your paint choices. If living in rental property, opt instead for wall paper. Wall paper is easy to install and remove. Plus it doesn’t get you into trouble with your landlord. Best vendor:@wallpaper_ke254
Art: don’t be afraid to show your personality through your art. Whether you like paintings, sculptures or photos. Art is a great way of brightening up your home and giving it character. Most artists offer very affordable prices for their art and offer great options for custom pieces. If on a budget take pictures yourself. Let the walls tell a story about you,the things you’ve seen, the people you’ve met and the experiences you’ve had.
Decor: little trinkets to spice your home. Pillows, cushions, vases are all great ways of adding a little spice to your home. Great places to find decor items are Mr. Price Home,@smartladyhome and @homedecor254.
